SETTE, LENA CIVITILLO Lena C. Sette, 91, of West Haven passed away at home Tuesday, April 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late Dominick J. Sette. Mother of Nancy (Tony) Corniello, Patricia (Richard) Massaro and Barbara (Raymond) Rosini. Grandmother of Louis J. Bernardo, Daniela (Kevin) Bruneau, Jessica (John) Palmer, Dr. Stephanie Massaro (Scott Stampp), Raymond Rosini Jr. and Amy M. Gagnon. Great grandmother of James P. Wayne III, Jack and Sean Palmer, Grace P. Gagnon, Sophia Stampp, R.J. Bruneau and Andrew Stampp. She was predeceased by her parents Orazio A. and Christina Civitillo, sisters Mary and Rose Civitillo, Amelia Mattei and brothers Peter, Pasquale, Dominick & Michael Civitillo. She will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Mama Lena retired from Perri Sausage and went on to become famous at Big John’s Deli for her meatballs and eggplant parmigiana. Lena’s family would like to thank the staff of Vitas, especially Nancy Wallick, and home caregivers, Sandi Arminio, Darlene and Winnie. Visitation will be Thursday morning from 8:30 to 10:30 at the West Haven Funeral Home at the Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 in Our Lady of Victory Church.
