Lisa Capone Obituary
Lisa Capone of Branford passed away August 24, 2021, in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in New Haven on September 23, 1966, daughter of Theresa Grannucci Capone and the late Prisco Capone, Lisa was a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical High School and later retired from SNET/AT&T after 19 years and was currently working for TJ Maxx in East Haven. She was a lover of animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed bowling for many years. She also loved classic hard rock music. Her daily social media quotes inspired many. She will be remembered for her beautiful hazel eyes, curly brown hair, and pretty smile. She is the sister of Cynthia Trotta and her husband Dave. Devoted aunt of Katie Trotta and David (Lauren) Trotta. Loving cousin of Patty Salemme.
Visiting hours will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00-10:30 in the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc, 11 Wooster Place in New Haven. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Michael Church at 11:00. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Per order of the City of New Haven, masks must be worn by all individuals for all services. Memorial contributions may be made Cosgrove Animal Shelter 749 E. Main St. Branford, CT 06405.
