Mike was one of the first people that I had the privilidge to work with at Sikorsky. He was a mentor to me from my early days as an engineer but, more importantly, he was a great friend. We enjoyed many good times. He always had a smile. I want to offer my sincere condolences on your loss.

Our son Tim was an Orange Flame as a youth and was fortunate to have Mike as his oach. Mike's style was to go beyond the technical aspects of soccer and reinforce traits such as responsibility, teamliness and courage. What a guy. Tim holds fond memories of those days. Mike's family, freinds and colleagues have so many reasons to be proud.

I first met Mike when our kids were playing soccer in the youngest league, where all kids won and enjoyed themselves. As a Dad he was extremely proud of his own kids, but was there to encourage every other child that was out there playing and having fun. Mike always had a smile on his face and encouragement from his lips. I am sorry he has physically left us, but his memory will always be with me. His legacy will be carried on by his children and everyone else he ever came into contact with.
