Michael Ruff Obituary
Michael Lee Ruff, (September 2nd, 1941 – February 4th, 2023) has sadly passed away. Michael "Mike" Ruff grew up in New Haven and had a passion for fast cars. He loved Chevy Corvettes and his first one was 1961 black beauty, followed by a red '72 and a blue '73 Stingray. Over the years he owned 11 "Vettes." Mike followed his father (Teddy) into the car business.
Michael is predeceased by his parents, Theodore and Elsie Ruff, sister-in-law and Patricia DiBiase (Madison, Wisconsin). He is survived by his wife Margaret Ruff (Rochester, NY), siblings Ronald Ruff (Groveland, Florida), Allen Ruff (Madison, Wisconsin) and Robin Graniero (Ridgefield, CT) children Charles Ruff (Minneola, Florida), Daniel (Michelle) Ruff (Hamden, CT), Mark Ruff (New Haven, CT) and Joseph (Melissa) Ruff (Rochester, NY). Michael is also mourned by grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held in late April in New Haven.

I never got to meet Mike but if it wasn't' for him bringing this car from Rochester, NY to Connecticut, I never would have had the chance to purchase it. I love this car. Thank you Mike.

So sorry to hear about Mike´s passing. When I worked at the Winchester plant he owned the service station on Munson Street and I would take my car there to get serviced. When we found out we were second-degree cousins he became our families mechanic always taken care of our cars and sometimes not even asking for much. He restored my 1969 GTO & He went out of his way to find the right parts for me. RIP Cousin. Carl Ruffino. Please keep us posted on the services
