Robert Daniels Obituary

Robert "Bobby" Daniels, 31, passed away on October 22, 2021 in New Haven. Bobby was the beloved son of Robert Daniels of New Haven and Louise Mondo Daniels of Fort Myers, FL. Besides his parents, Bobby is survived by his aunts and uncles, Greg and Elena Mondo, Joe and JoAnn Ansaldo, James and Mary Ellen Hancock, and Great Uncle Pat Libero, along with numerous loving cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Robert and Carmela Pearlman and paternal grandparents Edward and Evelyn Daniels and his special "Auntie" Denise Libero.
Bobby was a graduate of St. Bernadette's School's Talented and Gifted Program and Notre Dame High School in West Haven., where he was an honor student and member of the National Honor and Latin Society. He went on to attend Central Connecticut State University. He was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Eagle Scout. He played Youth Hockey in East Haven and was an accomplished karate student. Bobby was employed by American Truck & Trailer, a local family business, where he worked side by side with his loving uncles.
A young man with a great passion for animals, especially exotic reptiles, cooking and video games. Bobby was quick to tell a joke, always willing to lend a helping hand, and had an affinity for politics.
His quick wit and outgoing personality made him his own man and truly one of a kind.
Our Bobby will be dearly missed by family and friends, with whom he shared unique and special bonds.
Funeral services will be private.
Memorial contributions in his name can be made to Notre Dame High School , West Haven or Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford.

Louise, I am sincerely sorry for the loss of your son. I remember you always speaking of him. You lent me video´s of his a couple of times. Can´t remember which one´s. I had a niece his age and watched them with her. Again, I extend my deepest condolences. God bless you and help you through this difficult time.
