Joseph Milburn Obituary
MILBURN
Joseph Andrews Milburn, 79, of Edgewood, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Edgewood. The son of John Thomas Milburn and Cora Andrews Milburn, he attended Beechwood High School, Summit Country Day, GOW School at S. Wales, NY, Hill School in Pottstown, PA and Nicholas College in Dudley, Mass. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Ft. Mitchell Country Club, former member of Vestry at Trinity Church, N. KY Jaycees, board member for Highland Cemetery, owner and President of Stewart Iron Works, former Board Member Peoples Bank of KY, and Board Member of Peoples Liberty Bank, a former Board Member of Booth Hospital, a KY Colonel, and member of the Northern Ky. Heritage League. Joe loved fishing and all the good times at his place on Marco Island, Florida. He was a very charitable person, and many of his family and friends have things that he had crafted from wood and metal. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years Anna Buchanan Milburn; sons Joseph Anthony Milburn (Amy) and John Thomas Milburn(Teresa), both of Erlanger; grandchildren Morgan, Maggie, Drew, Sydney, Mason, Mirza and Jesse; sister Grace Munique of Indian Hill, and his beloved dog Bucky. Friends may call from 9 AM to 11 AM Saturday, July 25, with services at 11 AM Saturday, all at Trinity Episcopal Church, 326 Madison Ave., Covington Ky. Interment following at Highland Cemetery. Memorials to Diabetes Assoc., 644 Linn St. (#304), Cincinnati 45203 or to Trinity Episcopal Church, Covington. SWINDLER & CURRIN -LATONIA serving the family.
