Robert L. "Bob", Sr. beloved husband of Patricia Compton, loving father of Vickie Collins, Robert (Debie) Compton, Jr., Linda Compton, and Scott Compton; brother of Jackie Primm, Bill Compton, and Faye Jordan, all of Columbia, TN; grandfather of Kelly, Jacob, Colin, Ryan, Haley, and Taylor; great-grandfather of Chelsea, Cody, Cheyenne; great-great-grandfather of Winter. "Robert was a good friend to all who knew him." He passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the age of 81. Visitation at the Ogle & Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Ave. (45231), on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 3 pm until time of services at 5 pm. Hoffner Masonic Lodge #253 F&AM service and Scottish Rite Ring service at 5 pm followed by funeral service. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Cincinnati. www.paulyoungfuneralhome.com

How to say Good-bye to an old friend of long standing is always hard to do. With over40years of friendship memories come flooding back. Raising our children side by side of each other, Bob was always there with a helping hand with any project Roy set out to do. So many good times spent down at the pool with all the activities going on. What a great guy. He will be missed by all his friends and family. May God bless each of you in your time of need and know Bob is in a better place with our Father in Haven. Blessing Roy and Joan
