Gary Wisdom Obituary
December 21, 1950 - February 19, 2025
Gary L. Wisdom was born on December 21, 1950, to Herbert and Betty Wisdom of Nogales, AZ. Gary peacefully passed away on February 19th at a care facility in Tucson, AZ. He is survived by his partner, Vera Conley, and his daughter, Morgan Conley.
Gary, a long time rancher, grew up on the 61 Ranch at Walker Canyon near Pena Blanca Lake, AZ, with his brother, Roy Wisdom (now deceased). He always loved spending time outdoors, especially horse back, and that lifestyle naturally led him into the cattle business for many years.
He was highly respected and revered by his fellow ranchers, and was known for his kindness and gentle way of dealing with all of his cattle.
Gary was known to name his cattle and interact with them. He was related to the Wisdoms of Tumacacori, Arizona on his father's side and to the Chapmans on his mother's side.
Those who knew Gary will always remember his smile and that unforgettable laugh and easy going ways.
Gary will be missed by many long time friends and family. A celebration of life will be held this summer. Details TBD.
