Albert Hynes Obituary

HYNES Albert "Abby" Hynes passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at age 84 years. Beloved husband of Joy M. Hynes for 62 years. Father of Gary C. Hynes, Sr. (Debra), Deborah DiBlasi, Lisa Rogers (Tim), and Lori Savona (Allen). Grandfather of Gary C. Hynes, Jr., Boue Wright, Kip Savona, Monica DiBlasi Harrell, Derek and Dustin DiBlasi, Samantha and Melody Rogers, and Kaytlyn Rogers Wilkes. Also survived by 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents the late Edward and Philomena S. Hynes and his brother, Louis Hynes. Mr. Hynes served in the United States Navy Air Force during WWII and Korea. He was also a member of the local 11 Metal Masters Retiree's club and the AARP, Algiers chapter. He was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 9:00 AM. Interment, Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Parlors will be open on Sunday, February 1, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM and again on Monday morning from 8:00 AM until funeral time.
