Audrey Williams Obituary

Audrey Mae Middleton Williams, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, June 26, 2017. As the oldest of six children, Audrey was born to the union of the late Earl and Nelar Middleton. She was preceded in death by her brother Earl Middleton Jr., her sisters Bernadine Jett, Althea Anthony, and Barbara Fairman. She leaves one surviving sister, and Godchild, Nelar Morgan of Dallas, Texas, one brother-in-law, Albert Jett, Sr. of New Orleans, LA, and one aunt, Nancy Barabino of New Orleans. LA. She was the devoted wife of the late Lawrence Williams, and to this union one child was born, Monja Kelson (Jefferi), and one step-daughter Joyce Cador of Gonzales, LA. She was the former wife of the late Ernest Bornes and to this union three children were born, Keith Bornes, Sr. (Pamela), Acquanette M. Bornes, Fortina Bornes, Sr. She is fondly remembered by her Godchild Bernadette Terrell of Baton Rouge, LA. Also, to cherish her memories are thirteengrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and the Lord blessed her with two extended grandchildren eleven great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Members of New Home Ministries, New Orleans Gospel Temple, Second Zion Baptist Church # 2, Abundant Life Church, Bethel Church, Little St. John Missionary Baptist Church, St. James Methodist Church, McDonogh 35 c/o 1946 and Alumni Association, and former employees of Charity Hospital are all invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, July 3, 2017 for 10:00 a.m. at New Homes Ministries, 1616 Robert C. Blakes Sr. Dr., formerly Carondelet Street, NOLA. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Pastors R.C. Blakes, Jr and Samuel R. Blakes officiating.
