I will never forget what Brother Bill did for me me; not only as a student but as a person. I know that no one can consloe you during this tragic time; but may you take comfot in the the fact that Brother Bill touched so many lives. Please remember that God only puts the most weight on those that can handle it. Brother Bill was a wounderful man and had a dramatic impact both on my life and the life of my peers. Thank for your gift to me and to the world.

Brother Bill, was by far the best teacher at Saint Paul’s, he taught those students who where lucky enough to have him to love English, especially the art of writing. I cannot tell you how much Brother Bill meant to students like myself, who before taking his English class did not care for English that much. Brother Bill challenged me in his class to work hard, from the daily vocabulary test, to time he ripped my research paper up in front of the entire class (he did this everyone in the class) because I had one spelling mistake. Brother Bill challenged his students to work hard in order to become better writers and in doing so, we did become better writers because of him. I still use the “Write for College” book that he required his students to have. I just wanted to say that he is going to be sorely missed by his former students, but especially the students who will never ever be able to have him as teacher, or know what a great man he was.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Brother Bill, a close personal friend and beloved teacher whose educating went far beyond the classroom and my high school years. He taught me many life lessons and acted as a mentor to me. He offered so much more than his responsibility encompassed and his generous personality and giant sense of humor demonstrated it in the best of ways. I want to offer my condolences to and share my sympathy with the entire Saint Paul's Community, as I will sorely miss Brother Bill Parsons.
