Byron's Journey's Just Begun
Don't think of Byron as gone away - his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets - this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched…for nothing loved is ever lost - and he was loved so much.

To Aunt Viola and my cousins, I was greatly saddened to learn of Byron's passing. I remember his big grin and his beautiful personality when we were kids. His passing brings an end to his time of illness, and I'm sure he will make a great addition to the Lord's army of angels. Be strengthened by the thought of his love for you all.

I am very sad to know that Cousin Byron has left behind a family, friends, and a community that he so loved and that loved him back. My childhood is full of memories of him at my grandmother's home, at my parents home, and at his home in the 7th Ward. My prayers go out to the family whose lives he impacted n such a way that they will be forever changed because of his absence.
