My family words can not express how we all feel about you , since day one we all been missing you like crazy I don't know don't know about everyone else but you have always been my right hand man and there is no replacement in my heart for anyone else , I will continue to relive our childhood until we meet again , but remember our memories will continue to last forever, we love you , miss you, we know you are in good hands with God ,Grandma Doretha , and Courtney so continue to rest in paradise angel!! Prayers to our entire family, we all love you, miss you, and appreciate you so much, life will never be the same without you but we will all continue to keep you in our memories, you will always be in spirit no matter what happens in life, what you did for your entire family and community will never be replaced, your parents has raise a great man and even on our good, bad or worse days you have always find away to bring happiness in our lives, it has always been a blessing to be apart of your life because you have taught me so much in life such as not being who you are, life has giving us so many choices and I choose to be your right hand cousin because all of us had each other's back and life as we know it has its values and we all cherish more than just values, we cherish our entire memories forever and ever, it still feels like you are not gone , but as we all know you are in good hands with God and Grandmother Doretha, wherever we all go you are there with us and nobody will never take your place, until we meet again, love u always forever and ever!

Well my son days are now turning into weeks, yesterday made one month since we laid you to rest and you know me I'm back at work and still crying and talking to your picture and as much as I try to make sense of this I can't.
The thing that is bringing me a little comfort is when I was making plans to lay you to rest God was actually revealing to me certain things to let me know that you were in his care ,like Aaron's mom (Melenie) picture popped up in my FB news feed from 6 yrs ago where I wrote "don't worry about your son I got him". Then when I was wondering what to dress you in God reminded me that you had already been fitted for your suit for Jay"s wedding ( a perfect fit) and the song by Beyonce "I WAS HERE" that was the song I've always said I wanted played at my funeral but after hearing it again I realized it was speaking your life.
I'm not going to say I'll be alright because I'll never be the same again ,you was my world,my love and everyone knows there was nothing I wouldn't give or do for you but what I will and have always said is God has a plan and purpose for all of our lives and from all the wonderful things that you brought to so many people lives it seems that your purpose for living was fulfilled.
May you rest in peace and I'll be looking for you when my time comes.

Very hard to have to say goodbye to my childhood friend/former classmate. The memories of Cedric/Scoot will be with me forever. Walking with me to school after his mom would drop him off close by, working together at Winn-Dixie (our first job), all the fun times at school and after school, playing sports. I will never forget. I still tell some of his crazy jokes now. When my godmother passed earlier this year, he checked on me. We’ve always kept in touch and encouraged each other. I was so happy to see him going to Celebration Church and I would tell him that. God Bless The Simmons Family and everyone who loved Scoot.

Well my childhood friend, neighbor, and church member you have made it to the end of this earthly road before me. I am truly sadden by your departure but I will hold fast to our days in the hood playing until dark.
Many times you were the one who would get my Mom to let us come outside, you were the one who we would use to get her to fry us some chicken and make spaghetti
