Corey Furgeson Obituary

Corey passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 25 on March 2, 2016 . He was the son of Lori Furgeson Pacetti (David). Brother of Camden and Marli Matherne. Cory was loved, raised and adored by his grandparents Joseph Benjamin (Gramps) and Patricia (Grams) Furgeson, Great grandson of Teresa Grass and the Late George Gras, Juanita Furgeson. Nephew of Joseph B Ferguson III (Ava), Godchild to Angela Rando Smith. He is also survived by his cousins Brynn, Godchild Braden, Aunts, Uncles, and abundance of friends. Relatives and friend are invited to attend visitations on March 8, 2016 from 2-4 followed by a service at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home,75212 Lee Rd, Covington, LA 70435. After we would like to invite you to celebrate Corey's life at The Landing in down town Covington for a candle light vigil and balloon release. Corey was a friend to our family and would always come to our house. He was a young man who I loved like a son. Very respectful and always ready to help me if I needed it. I will miss him!!

My son Noel was completely devastated by this news. He loved Corey very much. He has wonderful memories of him, and their friendship, as well as many others. My daughter , Claudia , will also miss him deeply. She also shares fond memories of Corey. To lose such a beautiful soul, so young is everyone's loss. Your grief is shared with many.
