David Files Obituary

David Alton Files passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 9, 2022, at the age of 61. This huge-hearted, multi-talented, hard-working and hard-playing man touched many lives with his generosity, trades and skills as a crane operator, 18-wheeler truck driver and construction projects. He is preceded in death by his father, Maxwell D. Files, his mother, Maureen Minchew Files, and his brothers Sonny Files and Dusty Files (Liz Taylor). Surviving family are his wife, Darlene Files, two sons, Maco Tannehill (Brooke Tannehill) and Max Files, along with the princess of his life, his granddaughter Penelope Tannehill, and his as yet unborn grandson; his sisters, Dee Hardin, and his twin, Sandra Files. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at Serenity Funeral Home, 20419 Highway 36, Covington, LA. Visitation from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a celebration of life send-off to follow.
