Emanuel "E.J." Lewis Jr.

Emanuel Lewis Obituary

LEWIS Emanuel "E.J." Lewis, Jr. went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the age of 73. Husband of Mertiss S. Lewis. Father of James, Terrance and Tracie Lewis. Grandfather of LaJohnta Washington, Taylor Wilson, Jasmine, Tama and TyKyan Lewis. Son-in-law of Willie Margaret Smith. Brother of Raymond Lewis, Annie Bell McGee and Reginald Fields. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emanuel and Frances Alexander Lewis, Sr.; father-in-law, Samuel Smith Sr.; and his son, Geoffrey "Choo" Lewis. Also survived by and will be sadly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Austerlitz Street Baptist Church, 819 Austerlitz St.--- 2:00p.m., Rev. Edward Parker, Jr., officiating. Interment Private. Visitation 12:30p.m. at the church. CHARBONNET-LABAT-GLAPION 581-4411
