Floyd Dupart Obituary

Floyd "Cool Breez" Dupart, Sr. entered into eternal life on June 5, 2018. After a lengthy illness, Almighty God, in his grace and mercy, called him home. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Lillian Desdune Dupart; his daughter, Veda Dupart; sister: Ruby Lilly and his brothers: Joseph Martin, Vincent, Raymond, and Roy Dupart. He is survived by his sons: Floyd Jr. and Derek Dupart; daughters: Shina (Terry) Faulkner, Nila (Kenneth) Kelly, Sheila Boyd, Kim Cobb, and Chekitha Cobb; brothers: John (Harriet) Dupart, and Henry Dupart; sisters: Lorraine (Tony) Payne and Yvonne (Ira) Martin and his former wife Louise J. Dupart and blended family members: Anthony Peavy, Sr., and LaVella (Lanier) Harris. and a host of grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and close friends. All who knew "Cool Breez" are invited to attend the viewing from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., NOLA with the Internment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, 10400 Old Gentilly Road, NOLA.
