I was a cashier at Chandlers back in the early 80's. I recall working with Fred, Mike, Mr. Charlie, Mr. J, Dennis, Dorian and some others. Those were some fun times. The guys used to have to write out sales tickets and I was always amazed watching Fred, with his left hand, create such beautiful handwriting. My sincere sympathy to his family and friends.

I can remember vividly the first time I met Fred, and knew from that moment that we'd be friends connected for life. I loved his joy and zest for life, how could you not?! The years have flown by, ups and downs and life has gotten in the way of those footloose and fancy free fun filled times. Although busy schedules got in the way, when we'd see each other it was as if no time had passed at all.
His heart is good and kind, he loved his family and friends, and he loved life. My collection of fond Fred memories (some of my BEST times) could fill a book...a LARGE book. Sadly for us he's left far too soon, but my consolation is that there were many of our loved ones waiting for him to arrive. I miss him already. I am thankful and blessed to have had Fred in my life.
Godspeed my friend,I love and miss you.

FRED: I feel so blessed to have had you as my cousin. Together we grew up with so many fun times and great memories. Your Dad and my Mom were the closest of siblings, and you were "so" much like your dad. But 'You' were your own person, and a very special one---loved dearly by so many! You lived and loved life to the fullest! Your infectious smile... and YOU will be sorely missed* Me and my family, and your Nanny--- take comfort knowing that you suffer no more and will meet up with you in "that Better Place" that you have so deserved. Peace Cousin +

Fred is one of those people you meet and immediately know, he will be a friend for life. He was the kind of person who, upon meeting him became a friend instantly, and resides eternally in my heart. He was a very special part of my life, like another brother and one of my best friends in the world. We shared the best and worst of times. He was always there for me with love and compassion. Although it is very heartbreaking and sad that he has left this world, I believe God's compassion took him to relieve him from the burdens he endured and has carried so humbly and courageously for so many years. He never outwardly expressed any resentfulness about the hand he was dealt and was always filled with love and compassion for his family and friends. I will miss him terribly but carry him in my heart and memories forever. I am so greatful that I knew and had such a wonderful lifelong friend!

Although we met for professional reasons, you became a good friend. I'm grateful for having known such a beautiful person. My thoughts are with Monroe and your loving family during this difficult time. Parade up high my friend...
