Dear Margaret: I don't know if you remember me, but we went to Marion Park Elementary School together, you, Guy and I. I left Mississippi after 6th grade. I just learned of Guy's death. I knew of his many accomplishments and am proud that I once knew him. My name was Clara Anne Byrd. I dropped my first name and married. My name now is Anne Bower. I am so sorry for your loss and my heart is heavy that a great doctor has passed.

I'M having a hard time realizing the death of Dr. Guy & Dr. Mike. They were both such godly men. They were both my Doctor's....you tend to get very close to your Doctor's, because you can tell them anything.I had two hip replacements & 1 knee replacements,he kept me comfortable during it all.He always talked about Dr. Mike and his wife & family..I could tell he really loved you all!God says all things happen for a reason, but I miss them both so much!Mrs. Vise, my Mom used to do all your clothes at Maison Weiss. She sends her love too!You are in our prayer's daily...we love you & hope you feel better soon! I know dr. Guy is looking down on you at this very moment.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of another of our wonderful "Vise" physicians. Dr. Mike and Dr. Guy played a huge roll in seeing my son make it to where he is today from a traumatic brain injury at age 3. (He is now 26) One thing I remember most about Dr. Guy is that he never seemed to forget a face or a name. He was not only a wonderful physician for us but someone we called our friend. He will always be fondly remembered by our family. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with the family during this time.
