Janice Marie Trahan, age 67 entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 21, 2014. Former wife of John Dale Trahan. Beloved daughter of the late Claudia Mae Holland and Ray Wesley Holland. Loving and devoted mother of Anita Van Meter (Brian), Jennifer Adams (Clint) and the late Ronnie Trahan. Grandmother of Breana, Paiten, B.J., Mya, Gabbi and Ronnie. Great Grandmother of 1 expectant baby boy. Sister of Phillip Holland, Monroe Holland, Richard Holland and the late Frankie Schoniwitz. Janice is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was born in Saucier, Mississippi and was a resident of Huffman, Texas for the past 9 years. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 9AM until 1:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Port Sulphur, LA.
