My deepest sympathy to the whole Leblanc family. Joanne was a beautiful woman who lived her vocation of marriage with great joy. Her sacrificial love to her husband and children was a beautiful witness to all those who knew her.
My mother, Shirley Levy, joined me today at the funeral mass. It was beautiful and was a blessing to witness how many people joanne's life touched. My mother has such fond memories of her days at Sacred Heart as Joanne's "big sister" (Shirley was a senior when Joanne was a freshman.) She also remembers the "sisterly bond" that continued as they both had much in common being mothers of a large family.
