Hey Grandad! I am sorry that you had to go so soon and unexpectedly. I wish we all had a chance to say goodbye and have the whole family get together for dinner and play a card game for one last time. I am glad you came in town the week I had surgery and I was able to have my last meal with you on Magazine St. I will never forget that day you came to nanny's house for dinner and taught Garrett and I how to play that card game. Garrett and I will play the card game you have taught us every year for your birthday after the family goes to eat at your favorite places in memory of you. Thank you for all the advice you had given me on life situations and about school. I will continue to take that advice from here on out throughout my life. I love you Grandad and I miss you!

I am very sorry for your loss. I pray that you will find much comfort in knowing that Uncle John is safe in the house of the Lord. I'm equally as sorry that I was not able to be there to comfort you in this difficult time. Please know that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
