To the Butler and Harris Family, Nini Was a beautiful person with a kind spirit. A joy to be around. She will definitely be missed.
Ms Phini led the troops back home to revitalize the backside of the lower 9th ward, against huge opposition, she was a great leader!

The great Josephine Butler was a brilliant, strong and courageous community leader as well as kind, fun and dear friend. She reminds us that we have a path, that we can make it down that road and do so with grace, humor, love and great spirit. Mrs. Phini is a hero and will be with those who continue to fight for the lower 9th ward, for freedom, justice and the rights of all. Long may she live! xx

Such a blessed Aunt she took care of my great tennis shoe wearing Uncle Cherifield, with stood Katrina & keep on with the fight. She said "it's time for me to rest". So now she rests with the master up above.
God Bless the Butler Family. She was an inspiring lady.
