Julie´s, it´s been a while since I last wrote you. Thank you for showing up at my last two sessions-it meant a lot. I´ve been retired since leaving Afghanistan and have settled in Thailand. I have a wonderful wife and a 4-year-old son who keeps me young at heart. I´ve finally found peace here; Thailand is an incredible place to live. You´re forever in my heart and soul, always with me, lil brother.

I still remember all our good times we had early in the morning in your office, at breakfast, during our workouts and just chilling together after work when we went to dinner. Gone physically, but never forgotten in our minds and hearts. I made it out of Afghanistan my Brother and I am getting help for my PTSD. I decided to live I Thailand because it is so peaceful and the people are less aggressive than in America. I have found peace here. I love you my Brother.

Julius,
It's been 8 years since you left us and there isn't a day I don't think of you. I still wear my remembrance bracelet every day. When I wake up in the morning and start getting dress for work your bracelet is part of me, I can't leave for work without it. Before I put it on I say your name to myself and remember your smile.
I am still in Afghanistan working. I feel that my time here is coming to an end. I stay to support my elderly parents (80s) so they won't have to worry about anything financially, but mentally I am wearing down. I believe I have PSTD and every day is challenge. I believe I will finally seek help for my situation. Too many years working in Afghanistan are finally catching up to me.
I miss you each and every day my brother. I keep you and your family in my prayers. You will always stay with me in my heart. I will see you on the other side when it's my time. Love you like a brother always. RNC

Tomorrow is 29 October man, it's been 4 yrs since that day. I still remember it like yesterday. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about you lil brother. I am still in Kabul on my grind making sure I am able to take care of my parents as they grow older. Both are in there mid 80s now and doing very well. I got a remembrance bracelet made with your name and the date of the tragedy. I wear it every day. I promise myself to never forget you or that day, I couldn't even if I tried to. You will always remain like family and I will always have great memories of our time at Camp Alamo. I know you are in a better place and we all miss you.
