It was 2008 and you were living with your Dad when I first met you. I had just started working with your Dad. I was taking a break and looking in the fridge for a snack and all I saw was protein powders. When I asked if there was any real food, you smiled (the first smile) and said "growing up, the kids were Dad's experiment with health foods." That you got use to it and it wasn't all bad. I asked if you ate hamburgers and hot dogs like normal people and we laughed.

I miss the way you would light up the office when you visited. Your hug was so genuine and your smile was contagious. Today, a year later, the weather is the same as it was then, a dark gray wet day as if the tears of heaven flow in memory of how you will be missed by those that love you. I am sending you a bear hug, a kiss on the cheek and fond memories of laughter we shared.
