Louis John Dyer

DYER Louis John Dyer was born March 15, 1946 to Elmo and Pearl Banks Dyer in New Orleans, LA. He was a graduate of Joseph S. Clark High School, attended Grambling State and Southern University of New Orleans, served in the Vietnam War and was an employee of Hertz Rental Inc. On June 16, 2008, Louis passed away at his home. He was 62 years old. He is survived by his wife, Germaine H. Dyer; daughters, Aisha Carmouche and Rashidah Dyer of Dallas, TX; son-in-law, Kevin Carmouche; stepchildren, Treniece Wright (Thomas), George and Deadra Thiel; grandchildren, Ariel and Keely Carmouche; step grandson, Thomas Wright IV; Carmelita, Lee, Gayle, Gerald, Ganean, Ronnell and Kya Johnson; sister, Odile V. Phillips; brother-in-law, Orson Hood; a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Albert J. Stevenson and stepson Derrick Thiel. Relatives, friends, family and employees of Hertz Rental Inc. are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Charbonnet-Labat-Glapion Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip St., NOLA---10:00 AM.
