Lucinda Joshua

Lucinda Joshua entered peacefully into eternal rest at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at the age of 61. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident for Gretna, LA. Lucinda was a 1978 graduate of L. B. Landry High School. She continued her studies at Xavier University, graduating with the Class of 1983. Lucinda was employed in the medical industry as an IT Trainer. She was an active member of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and participated in the Women's Ministry. Beloved daughter of the late Lucien, Sr. and Ann Joshua. Loving sister of Lucien (Iris), Frank, Lorne (Cherald) Joshua, Lois Joshua (Kendrick) Hogans, and the late Mary Coleman and Lorna Flemings. Lucinda is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of LCMC Health and Ochsner Health System are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service at the above named church.
