Marie Angelina Provenzano

Marie Angelina Provenzano passed away on peacefully on January 10, 2019 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by her husband Frank Joseph Provenzano Sr., her parents Sarah Donza and Dominic Venza as well as her sister Lorraine Blanton. Marie is survived by her two sons, Frank Joseph Provenzano Jr. (Louise) and Robert Anthony Provenzano (Judith). She was born in New Orleans, LA and moved to Harahan to start her family. Marie was a parishoner of St. Rita Catholic Church in Harahan and belonged to the Harahan American Legion Auxilary. She was the secretary for the Louisiana State Police Troop B and retired from there. Marie was an avid bowler at Colonial Lanes and a lover of cats. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Marie's name to the LSPCA (www.la-spca.org). Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 12:15 pm on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA.
