Robert Joseph Belloni

BELLONI Robert Joseph Belloni passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2009. He was born April 3, 1941 in New Orleans, LA to the late Nathaniel Frank and Ethel Heider Belloni and has been a resident of Abita Springs, LA since 1979. The beloved husband of Haydee Bothe Belloni. He is survived by his son, Robert J. Belloni, Jr.; three daughters: Robyn B. Porretto, Amy B. Wagner, Becky B. Miller and her husband Mark (Jay) Miller II; one brother, Kenneth J. Belloni; his sister, Ethel B. Tarleton; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by one brother, Nathaniel F. Belloni, Jr. A graduate of St. Aloysius, class of 1960, Robert owned and operated Robert's Hardware from 1979 until his retirement in 2006. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1963. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend Funeral Services on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 12:00 noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow services at the Abita Springs Cemetery.
