Robert Lang, age 94, on Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at 3 o'clock am. Son of the late Jimmy Lange and Dollie Lang. Beloved husband of Mary Davis Lang. Father of Mehether of N.O., LA, Bobby of Los Angeles, CA, Pauline L.Clarke', Levesia (Andrew) Baker of N.O., LA, Robertine (Charles) Jackson, Edna Lange, Betty Lang all of Los Angeles, CA, Arlinda (Lonnie) Lange of Pittsburg, PA, Gaydelle (Judge William) Blackmon and Deonne (Gabriel) Martinez of Dallas, TX and the late Vontell Lang. Brother of Homer (Madeline) and Smiley Rayne Lang of Sacremento, CA and the late Jimmy, Jr., Charlie, Clement, David, Gus, Freddie and Melvin Lang, Edwina Shepherd, Laura Lazana and Trudy McMillion. Godfather of David Lang, Jr. Also survived by 32 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Brother-in-law of Geraldine Lang. Relatives and friends of the family also employees of James J. Reiss Candy Co., Purity Reiss Cand Co., Cabrini Elementary Catholic School, Xavier Prep High School, Swannettes Club, U.S. Dept of Education Region IV, Medical Dept. of Los Angeles, CA, Veterans Affairs Hospital of Los Angeles, CA, American Airlines, OPSB and Catholic School System, Pittsburg United School District, Houston Justice System, Lang Computer Software Services, Inc. are invited to attend services. Funeral service on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 10 o'clock am in the Chapel of the Roses of Charbonnet-Labat Funeral Home, 1615 St. Philip St. - NO WAKE - Interment Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie, LA.
