Susan Williams Obituary

WILLIAMS Susan D. Miller Williams was born on February 8, 1949 to Alice Marie Brashears, along with her step father Willie Alton Brashears. Susan passed away December 25, 2015. Susan was baptized at an early age of 5 and was recently baptized by Minister Bro. R. L. Clark of the Church of Christ. Susan was educated at Walter L. Cohen H.S. and she attended Southern University of New Orleans, Louisiana. Susan was employed by AT&T formerly known as Bellsouth, as at telecommunication Specialist. She leaves to cherish her memory to her loving and devoted husband August Williams, mother Alice Marie Brashears, sisters: Sharon Garrison (brother-in-law) Kevin Garrison, Linda Williams (brother-in-law) Vernon Williams, Kathy Warner (brother-in-law) Ronald Warner, two brothers: Vernon Brashears and Kerry Brashears (sister-in-law) Octavia Brashears, brothers- in-law on her husband side Sidney Williams, Kenneth Williams, Dennis Williams, sisters-in-law: Lois Johnson and Marian Williams, one Godchild Deana Watkins. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her loving pet Remington Williams. Family and friends are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at The Boyd Family Funeral Home, 5001 Chef Menteur Hwy., NOLA for 1:30 P.M. Visitation will begin at 12:30 P.M. Minister Brother R. L. Clark, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, NOLA. Guestbook: www.anewtraditionbegins.com (504) 282-0600.
