Thomas Salvador "Sal" "Tommy" Bondi, a longtime resident of Buras, La. passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Oschner Westbank. He was 60 years old and was born in New Orleans, La. on November 4, 1955. Beloved son of Verna Gros Bondi and the late Joseph P. "Tiger" Bondi. Loving husband to Daryl Lynn Armstrong Bondi for 28 years. Devoted father of Chad Bondi, Byron (Kristal) Bondi, Celeste Bondi and Louis Bondi. Brother of Francis Bondi Frelich, Paul, Joseph and Charles Bondi. Deceased also survived by 7 grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 28698 Hwy 23, Port Sulphur, La. on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11 A.M. Father Gerald Stapleton celebrant. Visitation will begin at 9 A.M. Eulogy will be given by Pastor Robert Early at 10 A.M. Entombment will follow in Nairn Cemetery in Nairn, La. A gathering to share special memories of Thomas will follow his Burial on Saturday at St. Patrick's life center (behind the church) at 1P.M.
