Torey Horton, born on November 22, 1999, in Kenner, La. was granted his angel wings on August 5, 2016. Torey was a student at East St. John High School where he was a member of the school's cross country team. Torey had plans of graduating and becoming a zoologist. He is survived by his mother Trameka (Joseph) Brown, sisters; Tierra, Jori, Jody and Jakyi. Brother; Corey Horton. Devoted grandfather; Terry (Andrea) Rising. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 for 11:00 a.m. at New Generations Fellowship, 1000 Roosevelt Blvd., Kenner, La. 70062. Viewing from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Bishop E. Craig Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery, St. Rose, La. Arrangements entrusted to Estelle J. Damn I can't believe it, I went to elementary school at bissionet plaza with Corey and Torey and I just can't believe he's gone. Torey was a sweet kid I just remember him being goofy and kind it's so sad that he had to leave so soon I will keep the family in my prayers. R.I.P Tory fly high soldier
