Prayers for strength, comfort and peace are extended to you, Mrs. Clark, and your son in the passing of your husband and father.
In the fog of needful things surrounding the illness and death of a loved one, it is difficult to find time to pray or even think about praying even if we know what to pray for. God knows and He has stationed extended family, friends, church members and well-wishers around you to shoulder the load with and for you. They serve as His arms and ears.
In the days ahead, the quiet times will come when you can pause, reflect and take a breath. That's when you may feel the pain of loss more keenly. But don't despair. Be still and hear the still, small voice within saying: "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
