William Mims Jr.

William Mims, Jr., born July 3, 1980, in New Orleans, LA, quietly transitioned on Monday, April 24, 2023. He was the beloved firstborn son of Brenda Gould Mims and William Mims, Sr. He is preceded in death by many loved ones. He is survived by his best friend and brother, Brandon G. Mims; and his dear sister, Brianne Gould. William is also survived by his uncles, Reginald Gould, Al Mims, and Johnny Mims; aunts; Linda Gould and Veronica Gould; great aunt, Anna Mae Gallo; nieces; LaBria Mims and London-Marie Mims; along with a host of close cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family welcomes his friends, class of '98 John McDonough Sr. High, colleagues, family and friends of his parents along with Heritage Christian Church, employees of Angelo Brocato's Bakery, and 1976 classmates of McDonogh 35 Sr. High, to his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, May 6, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at Gentilly Baptist Church, 5141 Franklin Ave., NOLA, with Pastor Titus A.
