Carl Sambogna Obituary
Carl, of Ridgefield, NJ passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday October 15, 2012. Beloved husband of Rosemary (nee Foster). Loving father of Mary Hovan and her husband John, Phyllis Black, and Pompilio John Sambogna and his wife Amy. Dear brother of Mary Gallo, Adolf, Anthony, Peter, Victoria Byrne, and the late Nicholas, Rose, and John Sambogna. Cherished grandfather of John (Jay), Jaime, Prentice, Brett, Shauna, Courtney, Blair and Brittany. Adored great-grandfather of Kaziah, Shadae, Jaydin, Alasia, Erik, Zahriah, and Olivia. Carl was the Produce Manager of the A&P of Palisades Park for many years. He was a member of the Holy Name Society and Local Union 464A. Mr. Sambogna served in the US Army during World War II from 1945-1946, and was a 2 time receipent of the Bronze Star Medal. Funeral Friday at 9 AM from the Hunt Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee. Funeral Mass 10 AM St. Nicholas R.C. Church, Palisades Park. Entombment to follow Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee. Friends will be received Wednesday and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Send condolences to stellatofuneralhomes.com

Our love to the Sambogna family on the passing of their dear Husband and Father. We are so sorry that we are unable to be with you at this sad time. Another of God's angels has gone back to heaven. We will miss his wonderful smile and quick wit. RIP Carl XXXX
