Nancy Sambogna (née Frontera), age 84, a lifelong resident of Palisades Park, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was the heart of her family -- a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose kindness, laughter, and warmth touched everyone who knew her.
Nancy found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She loved hosting holiday gatherings, filling her home with good food, laughter, and love. Traveling with her husband, children, and grandchildren throughout the United States and Europe brought her endless happiness and cherished memories that her family will hold close forever. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Anthony “Willie” Sambogna. Cherished mother of Carla Magner and her husband James “Jesse,” Francine Garth and her husband Joseph “Joey,” Nancy Ann Sambogna and her companion Donald Balestri, and the late Anthony P. Sambogna and his wife Shelli. Adored “Nanny” of Nicole, Jessica and her husband Colin, Michael, Devin, Christopher, and Danielle. Treasured great-grandmother of little Maya, who brought her so much joy. Dear sister of Patricia Brunje, and predeceased by her beloved siblings Dominick Frontera and Marlene “Molly” Nazzaro. Nancy will be remembered for her generous heart, her infectious laugh, and the love she poured into every moment spent with her family and friends.
The family will receive their friends on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at the Frank Patti Funeral Home 327 Main Street Fort Lee, NJ. The funeral will leave on Monday 10 am for the celebration of her funeral mass in St. Nicholas Church, Palisades Park at 10:30 am.
