Fred Werner Jr.

Dad, you left us all way to soon. Your passing was unexpected and caught us all off guard. I'm so glad that both Kristin and I got the chance to speak to you on Wednesday night, and I'm glad that I took the time to see you on Tuesday, but it just doesn't seem like it was enough. Growing up, you worked hard to provide for us and weren't around that much, but we knew you loved and cared for us. As I got older, I looked forward to the time we would spend together during hunting season with friends and family. Who could forget deer camp, be it a shack on the Delaware, a pop-up trailer in a field or staying at Tamiment. No matter what, we had a good time; even if we did come home empty-handed. As with anything else, life got in the way all to often and we could only talk on the phone, or we would both be pig-headed and neither one would budge. This is time that was wasted, time we'll never get back and I'm sorry. I guess I just want you to know how much you'll be missed by Kathy, Veronica, Emily and I as well as Kristin, John, Sean and Brittany. You've left us way too soon, but I'm glad that you're no longer in pain; you suffered for much too long. With this I say good-bye, I miss you and love you very much. Hunting season won't have the same feeling this year, it will seem all too gray and quiet.... Your son.

To Freddy's Family,

Even though we don't know you, we knew your father, Freddy, well. He was a wonderful guy. Rest in peace, my brother. You are everyone's hero and I am sure your family know how much of a hero you were. You were a gentle, kind soul and everyone who came in contact with you knew that. We will miss you. Watch over all your fellow officers, Freddy. Keep them safe, as we know you will. We will take it from here, my brother. God bless you and your wonderful family.

You will be missed

My deepest condolences to the Werner, Kohler and Roselli- Cary families. You have lost a loving & caring father, grandfather, uncle and brother-in-law who loved you all very dearly. Believe me when I tell you he made sure everyone knew how proud he was of his family. He had a great and sometimes barbed sense of humor that will be missed for sure. I will be thinking of you all as you mourn his passing, as shall I.
