Jacqueline Lewis Obituary
Jacqueline Rose Lewis (nee Guccione), 83, passed away peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital in Bartonsville, Pa on March 2, 2018 surrounded by her beloved family.
She was born in and spent most of her adult life as a resident of Bergen County, NJ with sojourns in London, Connecticut, Indiana, Texas and Germany before moving to Stroudsburg three years ago.
"Jackie" earned a BA in Sociology from the University of Evansville. She later earned her Masters degree from the University of Connecticut while raising her four children as a single mother.
She was a very successful magazine publisher and enjoyed travel, books, crossword puzzles, television and coffee milkshakes. Mostly, however, she enjoyed the company of her family.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Nina Guccione, her twin sister, Geraldine and her brother, Robert. She is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Kimberly, Kelly, Joseph and his wife, Maryellen and Nicole; 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Anthony Michael, Elijah, Roxanna, Anthony Joseph, Mackenzie, Caitlin, Joseph, Rudi and Angelina and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Her children are planning a private memorial service in the coming months. In lieu of flowers they ask that you make a donation to the American Heart Association. Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family at this time.

I just found out from Lisa Rosen about Jackie's passing. What a shame! She gave me my first real break as an editor, and I will always be appreciative of that. She has gone on to a better world, but my condolences to her family and friends.
