West Orange, NJ - Torres, Jeffrey age 56 passed into eternity from heart disease on November 29, 2020, the first Sunday of the Advent Season, at his home in West Orange, NJ. Born in Paterson, Jeff was a graduate of Memorial School and Passaic Valley HS and lived most of his life in Totowa, before retiring briefly to Florida and returning to New Jersey earlier this year. Jeff retired from UPS as a Truck Driver with 23 years of safe-driving awards, was a Parishioner at St. James of the Marches R.C. Church in Totowa, a former usher there and a member of its Knights of Columbus Council, and worked part-time for many years locally as a mobile Disc Jockey. Beloved son of Raymond Torres Sr. of Totowa and the late Elizabeth (nee Trotz) Torres (2013) and his current wife Mary Agnes Torres. Loving brother of Raymond Torres, Jr. & his wife, Mary-Alice of West Orange, Kevin Torres & his wife, Mary of Little Falls and Craig Torres & his wife, Jennifer of Flemington. Godfather of Brian Torres and dear uncle of Diana, Julia, Justin, Brian, Samantha, Lauren, Jake and Ava. He is also survived by his godmother, Mary Kay Bennett of Chesapeake, VA. as well as many other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa on Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow at St. James R.C. Church, Totowa at 9:30 AM. Entombment at Laurel Grove Mausoleum, Totowa. Friends may visit on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. For more information, go to
