Kevin Westergaard Obituary

WESTERGAARD Kevin Joseph , 48, of West Paterson, NJ passed away suddenly on Monday, May 25, 2009. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, he resided in West Paterson since 1997. Kevin enjoyed fresh water fishing.Mr. Westergaard was employed as a groundsman with George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus for thirty years.Beloved husband of Harriet (Wixson) Westergaard. Loving and devoted father of Brandy Perry and husband, Dennis and April Westergaard. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca. Dear brother of William Westergaard of Hawthorne, Robert Westergaard of West Paterson, Brian Westergaard, his twin, of Ogdensburg, Mary Thogode of Spring Hill, FL and the late Walter Westergaard. Loving uncle of Dawn and several nieces and nephews.A funeral service is planned for Thursday, May 28, 2009, 8 PM at Vander Plaat Colonial Home, Inc., 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ, 201-797-3500. Cremation will be private. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kevin may be made to the American Diabetes Association, NJ Office, CenterPointe II, Suite 103, 1160 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
