Sunset - July 20, 2013
Born in Manhattan, NY. Resided in Ridgewood, NJ for 55 years. Parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church in Ridgewood.
Predeceased by sons Winky (Bonnie) and Timothy (Beth McGuire).
Survived by husband of 72 years, Skipper (June 28), son Daniel, daughters Julia and Marybeth, grandkids Shane, Anthony (who shared her birthday for almost 36 years), Zoe, Wyett, Rachel and Hannah, great-granddaughters Ariya "Wink" and Marley Sol, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Lillian worked for Maiden-form in Bayonne in the 1940's, volunteered at Valley Hospital, girl scout leader and Jamboree. Was active herself in tennis, swimming ballet at Irene Fokene into her 70's and 80's. Loved being with family at LBI.

I wanted to look up the scala family since my mom lives in waldwick and I have fond memories of them. Sad to see Lillian has past. Beautiful and joy filled is what I remember. I will try to reach family members. God Bless.
