FLEMING
Maurice, age 89, a longtime resident of Bergenfield died on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Nellie (nee) Flanagan. Devoted father of Margaret Fleming-Keane and her husband Jim, Patricia Murphy and her husband John, Maurice Fleming, Brendan Fleming, and Helen Fleming. Loving grandfather of Maura Keane, Danielle Carazo, John Murphy, Maurice Fleming, Mark Carazo, Danny Murphy, Connor Murphy, and Suzie Fleming. Dear brother-in-law of Fr. Kevin Flanagan. He was also predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Jim, Tom, Mary and Nora. Maurice was born in County Limerick, Ireland and emigrated to the US in 1952. He worked for over 40 years in research and development for Best Foods and Unilever. Funeral service Monday, 9 AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell then to St. John's R.C. Church, Bergenfield for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 2-6 PM. Visit Maurice's memorial tribute page at

Maurice was a wonderful and loving husband to my sister and a great and caring father to his children and grandchildren. He was always a brother to me in every way. May he rest in peace.
