Renato Aime Obituary
Renato, of Harrington Park passed away on November 1, 2014.
Beloved husband of Maurizia (nee Mauroner). Loving father of Tiziana Aime and her partner Sue Melbourne. Dear brother of Anna Aime and uncle to Marco Rusticelli.
Renato was the Aftersales Business Manager of Maserati, of Englewood Cliffs, but most of his career was as an illustrator for Zebra Books, Leisure, Avon and Harlequin publishers. He was an avid golfer and passionate bowler. His family is extremely grateful to Dr. Eric Sherman and his team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, for their care during Renato's illness.
Visitation at the Barrett Funeral Home 148 Dean Dr. Tenafly on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass, Wednesday 9:30 AM St Therese R.C. Church, Cresskill. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O. Box 27461, New York, NY 10087-7461

So sad to hear of Renato's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing him through Ducati and he made the tour of Bologna so enjoyable. He was quite funny, I will always remember a joke he made about a local establishment we drove by. It was a cafeteria and birreria. Renato said "This guy, he must love the ria! Come to my cafeteria! Drink at my birreria, hope you don't get the diarrhea!". I cried laughing, I wasn't expecting that to come from this serious Italian man's mouth! Rest in peace dear Renato.

I am saddened to hear of Renato's passing. I enjoyed my time working with Renato at Maserati North America and considered him a true friend. It was an honor to have known him and I will always remember him as a kind man who had a fantastic joke.
