EBERSOLE Thomas Russell, 87, of Tampa, Florida died Tuesday, October 6th at Melech Hospice House in Tampa Florida after a long illness.He was a native of Hasbrouck Heights NJ son of Raymond and Marie Kelly Ebersole. A graduate of New York University and Fairleigh Dickenson University he held an MBA in marketing and was employed by Lever Brothers Company in NYC until his retirement in 1984. He resided in Butler NJ 29 years before relocating to Hendersonville NC in 1991.A veteran of WWII he served in Europe with the 281st and 44th engineer combat battalions. He was a life member of VFW post 8096, Butler NJ.His wife, Valerie Hayes Ebersole predeceased him in 1989. His survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Ebersole Dodds of Tampa FL, and Carol M. Ebersole of Brookville NY, and five sons, Thomas and Raymond of Tampa FL, Paul of North Andover MA, Mark of Midland Park NJ, and Gregory of NYC, 12 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and his sister Alice de Meurisse of Minnesota.He was a parishioner of St. Barnabas RC church. He will be interred in Sheppard Memorial Park Hendersonville NC.Memorials may be made to Interfaith Assistance Ministry, Ehringhuas St., Hendersonville NC.
