Joseph Presti Obituary
SOMERSWORTH NH - It is with sad news that we must acknowledge the passing of Joseph A. Presti Jr. on January 9, 2019 at his home in Somersworth, New Hampshire, losing his battle with leukemia.
He is the son of Joseph A. Presti Sr. and Laurie (Gilbert) Sadee. He was born in Norwich, Connecticut on September 12, 1978 and attended the Norwich School System, graduating with honors from Norwich Free Academy in June of 1996.
Involved with the Special Olympics, he loved sports, basketball, the beloved Red Sox, and the Patriots. He was well liked in school and was very proud to run in several Olympic parades with local police officers to benefit the Olympics with his best friend, Steven Provost.
He worked at Bob's stores in Waterford, Stop and Shop in Norwich, and in security at Mohegan Sun before he moved to New Hampshire.
Joseph will be deeply missed by his wife Melissa, Grandparents Rosario and Julie Presti; he is survived by his two daughters, Mikayla and Nicole, along with numerous relatives in Connecticut and New Hampshire, especially his dad.
A funeral service will be held in New Hampshire, and a memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
