Thomas Clukey Obituary
Versailles - Thomas R. Clukey, 78, of Versailles died Saturday April 10, 2021 at the Backus Hospital from complications of COVID 19. He was born in Old Town, ME on March 5, 1943 the son of the late Richard T. and Janet (Comeau) Clukey.
Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. He was last employed as a Power Plant Engineer at the former Federal Paper Board Co. in Versailles for 43 years before retiring. He was married to Vivian (DeRusha) Clukey who survives him.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son: Kenneth Clukey, one daughter: Elizabeth Taylor, one stepson: Richard Scala, two stepdaughters: Virginia Marceau and Tabitha Harty, two brothers: John Clukey and Joseph Morrill, two sisters: Janice Morgan and husband Gordon and S. Lyn Drew, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his good friend Ed Watson. He was predeceased by one son Joseph Clukey.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 17th at 11 am at Comstock Cemetery, Depot Road, Uncasville, Ct. Mask and social distancing will be required. There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, please get your COVID 19 shot in memory of Tom.
Guillot Funeral Home of Taftville is in charge of arrangements.
