Brenda Bailey Obituary
Brenda "Sue" (Litten) Bailey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 27th, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born to the late Floyd "Buck" and Florence Litten on August 10th, 1944. She graduated from Marshall High School in 1962.
Brenda is preceded in death by her parents Floyd "Buck" and Florence Litten, as well her brother Bradley "Bus" Litten.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Steve Bailey and their much-loved dog Splash. Her daughter Glenda Henegar (Heath) and her cherished granddaughters Becca and Alana Henegar. Her stepson Stephen Bailey II, and step-granddaughters Tessa Avelenda (Danny), Kierstan Wanser (Steven) and their baby girl Ophelia, and Terra Bailey. She also leaves behind her brother Anthony "Tony" Litten, along with several treasured nieces and nephews, and friends who became family.
One of Brenda's favorite things to do was to read with the children at her granddaughter's elementary school, and really anything that involved activities at their schools over the years. There she became grandma to many children, whom she adored, and they her. Being a grandma was her favorite role. Her other passion was tending to her beautiful flowers in her yard, they brought her so much joy.
A visitation will be held on Thursday December 5th from 5-7pm at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall, VA. The funeral will be held graveside on Friday December 6th at 12pm at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, VA, followed by a light lunch at Little River Baptist Church in Aldie, VA.
