Dennis Horn Obituary
Dennis M. Horn, 66, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care, Winchester after a battle with cancer.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. with a memorial service at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.
Dennis was born on September 11, 1951 in Front Royal to the late Mary Lee Jones and Lawrence Monroe Horn.
He was a Retired Navy Veteran and served in Vietnam and Desert Storm.
He also retired from the Family Dollar Distribution Center. He was a member of VFW post 1860 Front Royal, American Legion Post 77 Strasburg, Virginia and Moose Lodge 2483 Stephens City, Virginia.
Survivors include his wife, Pam Kenney-Horn of Front Royal; daughter, Brandi Martin (Jason) of South Carolina; son, Brant Horn (Kendall) of South Carolina; sister, Kelli Schultz (John) of Winchester; granddaughter, Savannah; grandson, Jason; sister-in-law, Kelly Foster; brother-in-law, Earl Menefee; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org, to the Humane Society of Warren County at 1245 Progress Drive, Front Royal, 22630 or to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, 22601.
Dennis' family would like to thank Hospice for their care, a special thanks to Kelly Foster, his caregiver, and to David (Winterhawk) Smith for always being there for Dennis and for always being a good friend.
