Eileen Haigh Obituary


Eileen Anne Haigh, 82, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away July 12, 2025. She was born July 23, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of John and Anne (Goebel) McGaw. Eileen worked as a librarian and after retirement did volunteer work in libraries. She and her husband Barry were Deacons at the Woodstock Presbyterian Church in Virginia.

Eileen is survived by her daughter, Kristine (Haigh) Stevens and husband Michael Stevens; grandchildren; Harley (Jessie Morrow) Stevens, Cheyenne (Nate Newman) Stevens, Dakota (Deidre Coons) Stevens; and great-grandchild Jaxsen Stevens. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Barry Haigh.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, Ltd., Chambersburg has been entrusted with these arrangements.
